If you are a trade publisher, or specialise in academic, educational or reference publishing, and are looking for a freelancer to edit, copyedit or proofread for you, please do get in touch. Whether you produce print or e-books, or interactive websites, I can help you. I have worked on a wide variety of books and websites over more than twenty years, and am also an experienced project manager (editorial stages), having worked in-house as Managing Editor at Canongate, as well as project-managing titles and series at Chambers Harrap and the National Library of Scotland. I am an Advanced Professional member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP, formerly the SfEP) and do regular training through them to keep my skills sharp and learn new ones.
